Notes
=====
1. Close all applications you are using with an MO disk before you eject it. Failure to do so could result in a loss of data.

2. Never attempt to shut down your computer while formatting an MO disk. Failure to do so could result in a loss of data.

3. Never close MO Disk Formatter while formatting an MO disk.

4. Never attempt to access your MO disk by another application (such as Explorer) while using MO Disk Formatter.

5. Never attempt to connect/disconnect your MO drive while running the MO Disk Formatter.

6. MO Disk Formatter indicates unformatted capacity of the disk that is different from formatted capacity.

7. Restart Windows when the MO Disk Formatter could not perform formatting or ejecting an MO disk by non-administrators even if the privilege is changed for them to be able to perform those.

8. Connect your MO drive before log on Windows when the MO Disk Formatter is used by the user with a non-administrative privilege. Failure to do so may result that the MO drive isn't displayed in the MO Disk Formatter.

9. The following error message may be displayed when you use "Add/Remove Hardware" in Control Panel or the "Unplug or Eject Hardware" icon on the taskbar to unplug your MO drive after formatting an MO disk.

 " The device 'Generic volume' cannot be stopped because a program is still accessing it. "

   Check whether other applications are not accessing the MO drive. If not, restart Windows.

10. [Low Level Format] check box appears if the /LLF option is set. 
    Select [Run...] from the [Start] menu. Type '"C:\Program Files\MO Utilities\MOFORMAT.EXE" /LLF' and click "OK" button .
    (assuming the MO Disk Formatter is installed in "C:\Program Files\MO Utilities".)

11. Adjust any power management option not to automatically put your computer on standby or in hibernation before low-level formatting an MO disk. Never attempt to stand by or hibernate your computer while low-level formatting an MO disk. Failure to do so could result in an unformatted MO disk.

12. Never attempt to do any job on the PC while low-level formatting an MO disk.

1. INSTALLATION
===============
1.1 HOW TO INSTALL
1) Log on Windows with administrator privilege.
2) Double click on "MOFORMAT.MSI" and follow the installation instructions.
Notes: Do NOT install the old packages after this package is installed.

1.2 HOW TO UNINSTALL
Note: Before uninstalling the package, check the eject and format privilege and set it properly. The setting will remain.
1) Log on Windows with administrator privilege.
2) Open "Control Panel" by clicking "Start" and "Settings".
3) Open "Add/Remove Programs".
4) Select "MO Disk Formatter", press "Remove" button and follow the instruction.



2. MO DISK FORMATTER
====================
2.1 HOW TO RUN MO DISK FORMATTER
From the "Start" menu select "Programs", "MO Utilities", and "MO Disk Formatter".
NOTE: Before operating MO Disk Formatter, exit all application accessing your MO disk.

2.2 HOW TO FORMAT
An MO disk can be formatted with one of the following format types.
- FLOPPY TYPE with FAT16 file system
- FLOPPY TYPE with FAT32 file system
- HARD DISK TYPE with FAT16 file system (single partition only)
- HARD DISK TYPE with FAT32 file system (single partition only)
NOTE: FAT16 is limited up to 2GB in our MO Disk Formatter since FAT16 in Windows 9x is supported up to 2GB.

1) Run "MO Disk Formatter".
2) Insert an MO disk that you want to format into your MO drive.
3) Select the MO drive from the "Select an MO drive" list.
4) Select the format type from the "Select a Format Type" list.
5) Type the volume label if necessary.
6) Press the "Start" button.
7) Follow the instruction on the screen.



3. EJECT AND FORMAT PRIVILEGE
=============================
3.1 HOW TO RUN EJECT AND FORMAT PRIVILEGE
1) Logon Windows with administrator privilege. 
2) From the "Start" menu select "Programs", "MO Utilities", and "Eject and format privilege".

3.2 HOW TO CHANGE THE PRIVILEGE
1) Run "Eject and format privilege".
2) Choose the user group you want to enable the eject and format privilege.
3) Follow the instruction on the screen.
