Camera Preview

You can easily and efficiently get a quick preview of your cameras and make adjustments on this page, without having to switch to Live View.

To use camera preview:

1. Click on the snapshot of any chosen camera to open its Preview window that displays its live view. Camera information, such as camera name and the amount of data streamed per second, is shown on the top of the window.
2. Depending on camera models and compatibility, you can adjust the camera with the following functions if supported by your camera:
• PTZ movement on live view display

If the camera supports pan/tilt/zoom functions, the mouse cursor will become directional arrows when you mouse over the preview window. You can left click on the mouse to adjust the direction of the camera, or scroll the mouse to optically zoom in/out.

• Buttons on screen

If supported by the camera, the following on-screen buttons will appear when you mouse over the bottom of the preview window: Home , Zoom , Drag and zoom , Absolute position , Iris and Focus .

• Absolute position : Click on this button to switch to this mode. Move your mouse pointer to the place where you want to position your camera and then left click for the change to take effect. The camera will take the chosen position as its central focus and move the lens accordingly.
• Drag and zoom : Click on this button to switch to this mode. Click and then drag with the mouse to digitally zoom in on the selected area. Scroll the mouse to further zoom in/out if needed. Click Reset digital zoom at the top-left corner of the preview to return to the default zoom level.
• Iris and Focus : Adjust the lens of the camera.
